I know we often say how much we appreciate each others support, the comments left on blogs and posts, shares across the web and that is all absolutely so. And sometimes we like to express thanks to our fans in different ways. I want to give you a chance to win a necklace.
If you’ve known me for over a year, then you know that last year I had some unique contests as a way of thanking my fans. EarthandMoonDesign was in the process of rebranding and had just selected our new name /domain. About 30 fans had fun guessing the name, the hardest being the last word. I created graphics, puzzles and posted daily clues. It was a mind treasure hunt and so much fun.
The winner came from Greece, Veronica Solorzano Athanaslou who won $20 off a necklace of her choice and we have since become great virtual friends. Then I ran a timeline contest to reward my fans with a triple strand crystal necklace where all you had to do was chose your favorite color from the multi strand design. This was won by a former Facebook group member, Carla Gardiner.
How would you like to have a new necklace for yourself or as a gift, just in time for the holidays?
RULES: I will describe 4 necklaces, ONE of them will become the prize to the winner. The winner will be selected randomly.
All you have to do is tell me in comments, which is your favorite (that is the one you will win), and subscribe to our newsletter: http://eepurl.com/YqUpX
I will be posting the contest to my Facebook page on Monday Dec. 8th and the winner will be announced on Wednesday Dec. 17th in a blog and on my Facebook page.

Thanks Julie. The focal bead on that neclace is awesome.
I love the garnet and rose quartz necklace. Garnet is my birthstone and I have never seen it used like this…beautiful and unique. Do you sell your jewlery in stores? Are you in Key Largo?

Cindy Meyer, Thanks for compliment. I so enjoyed designing that necklace. As of now we only do holiday craft shows in NY area and on our website, https://earthandmoondesign.com. Good luck in my contest.
What a fun contest…and easy too! I pinned it on my site. I love #3. In AZ the jade goes well with denim! Love all your color, fun to come to your blog.

Beth Niebuhr, so good to hear this. Was a bit concerned about doing a contest in a blog. Decided to give it a try and be innovative. Thanks for your support.
Pretty cool idea. My wife would say 2 and 3 are her faves

Beautiful jewelry! And gratitude to your clients is a nice touch.
I liked the first one, but would have preferred to see the whole thing… so my next choice would be the 3rd one because I loved the colors, the different texture looks and the larger bead off to the side, trendy!
Roslyn – great contest. I love the Larimar Beads Necklace because I love the off set of the beads. It must look fabulous on.

All the necklaces are gorgeous but I think my favorite would be #2. I love the pink with the garnet!
I love the Larimar. I think it’s because it is a big offset piece that is unique!
Author
Thanks for your comment Heather. Good Luck.
These are so pretty! Unfortunately, I already have way too many necklaces in these colors. Don’t want to overdo it!
Author
You are a sweetheart. Maybe next time I plan a contest, Ill have a color that you are missing.
Dreamy Rose Quartz for me..!
I was already on your email list 🙂
With the Larimar a close second or tied 😉
Congrats on this contest…on finding a new passion…on learning all the marketing stuff that could break a brain at any age!
I can’t get past no. 1…All the little beads falling joyfully in behind the big kahuna!
Well done, Ros.
May I ask if these are the steps for a contest?
1. Build up fans on FB, Twitter, Pinterst, Linkedin
2. This website is made on WP
3. Announced a contest
4. People filled out comment
You didn’t need to find a Contest-Making Plug in or anything?

In the past & maybe still within rules, you could do a simple timeline contest on FB page. It was suggested I do it in my blog. I didnt need a plug in or app as I made it my blog. I chose the CTA. When I decided to expand it to my FB platform, I added the disclaimer FB requires & I tweeted & pinned about it. Without an app, I have had to manually keep track of responses. Some chose a fav necklace but did not oprin. All of those I sent a reminder or email and a few completed the application. I knew my contest would be small. Hope that helps explain in more detail, Sharon McClean
I love necklace #4. Greens and blues are so soothing, and this redhead loves them!
Roz, I have never found a piece of jewelry worn by you or others that did not look absolutely beautiful and made for that person. Each piece is unique in the making and unique on the person wearing it. I loved all your pieces shown but was more drawn to the red and rose quartz. After looking again, I also liked the Vibrant purple and lime. If I am a winner, you may choose. I cannot rave enough about the jewelry you make and the prices are worth more than the money spent.
Necklace number 3 is gorgeous!!
oohlala. Would love #2 Dreamy. Beautiful colors. I love the length. Good luck everyone.
I would love to win #2. It’s so beautiful.
I love #2. It’s gorgeous.
